My work is evoked by a rich legacy of visual symbolism and is shaped by formative influences from my cultural heritage and experiences abroad. Traditional techniques and iconographic elements, particularly the symbolic use of nature, serve as tools for exploring aesthetic, spiritual, and emotional themes.
In my current artwork, I apply translucent paint washes over radiant surfaces of copper, gold, and silver, integrating abstracted natural forms. The metal leaf carries deep, mysterious significance, combined with secret echoes and historical associations with divinity and spiritual insight. Its luminous quality fosters a meditative and restorative atmosphere, reflecting the emotional depth embedded in my artistic process.
